Hello- how have you been? I’ve been taking a week off from streaming just for some good old fashion mental health break and to re-organize my thoughts. I haven’t felt this relaxed in a long time. For the first time in a very long tome, the only job I had to worry about was my normal 8-5. It was incredibly liberating. I hadn’t had a real break like that in a long time. And by slowly breaking away from social media, I was able to reset the severity and value that random strangers had on me. It’s silly to care a lot about strangers and their opinions, but I couldn’t help it. I was so frightful of the idea that I’m letting people down or that others would make fun of me. But by stepping away and being able to re-center myself outside of the internet for the first time in so long, I felt free. I hope everyone else gets a chance to do this too. Who knew the freedom of infinite connection was such a chain for anxiety?
